VPI Recommends Static Solutions AF-6800 To Replace Discontinued Glaze

VPI Corporation, the manufacturer of the ESD vinyl floor tiles, recommends Static Solutions as a replacement supplier for their cleaners, strippers, and floor finishes after they ceased their own product line. VPI tested and qualified Static Solutions as a substitute for their own products. The Ohm-Shield AF-6800, an “industry first” floor finish designed for ESD rubber, ESD paint, and ESD PVC floor tiles/mats, replaces VPI’s discontinued glaze. Static Solutions has electrical and environmental test data from outside independent laboratories to support its literature.

The VPI products no longer manufactured include strippers, cleaners, and glaze floor treatments. Glaze was a product that VPI sold for use on their ESD flooring. The ESD glaze was designed to aid in cleaning, increase gloss, eliminate UV color degradation, maintain electricals, reduce abrasion of floor mats, and diminish plasticizer migration from the flooring to the environment. The Static Solutions AF-6800 is designed to do all that and work with existing VPI floors.

Freudenberg, the manufacturer of ESD rubber tiles, also recommends Static Solutions Ohm-Shield ES-1759 cleaner. This cleaner is used to remove dirt and also maintain the electrical properties of their ESD floor mats.
